Privacy Policy
Effective July 5, 2026
Player Driven (“Player Driven,” “we,” “us”) operates intel.playerdriven.io(the “Site”), a media hub that is part of the wider Player Driven network. This policy explains what information we collect on the Site, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Questions? Email greg@playerdriven.io.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Email address — when you subscribe to our newsletter.
- Account details — if you sign in to comment on the Meta Report, we use Clerk to authenticate you and receive your name or username and email from your Player Driven account.
- Content you submit — the comments and votes you post.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data — pages viewed, referring links, approximate location, and browser or device type, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies and tracking).
- Server logs — our host (Vercel) processes technical data such as IP address and user agent to serve and secure the Site.
- Votes— when you vote on a “Known Issue,” we store a one-way salted hash of your account id or IP address to prevent duplicate voting. We do not store your raw IP address for votes.
Information from third parties
- Authentication data from Clerk when you sign in.
- Embedded content (such as YouTube players) may collect data directly — see Third-party content.
Cookies and tracking technologies
- Essential — keep you signed in (Clerk) and keep the Site working.
- Analytics & advertising— we use the TikTok Pixel to understand how visitors arrive from TikTok and to measure and improve our advertising. It may set cookies and share limited event data (such as page views) with TikTok. See TikTok’s privacy policy for details.
- Third-party embeds — embedded YouTube videos set Google/YouTube cookies when you interact with them.
You can control cookies through your browser settings and limit ad tracking through your device settings and TikTok’s ad preferences.
How we use your information
- Send the newsletter you asked for.
- Let you sign in, comment, and vote.
- Measure traffic, understand which content resonates, and improve the Site.
- Measure and optimize our marketing, including through TikTok.
- Keep the Site secure and prevent spam and abuse.
How we share information
We share information with service providers that help us run the Site, and with advertising partners as described below:
- Loops — newsletter delivery.
- Clerk — account authentication.
- Supabase — database for comments, votes, and contacts.
- Vercel — hosting and security.
- TikTok — advertising measurement and optimization.
- Google / YouTube — embedded video.
These providers may process data in the United States.
We do notsell your personal information for money. We do use advertising cookies (such as the TikTok Pixel) that may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under some laws (for example, in California). You can opt out — see Your choices and rights. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights and our users.
Data retention
We keep newsletter contacts until you unsubscribe, and comments and votes for as long as the Site displays them or as needed for legitimate purposes. We delete or de-identify data when it is no longer needed.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe anytime using the link in any newsletter email.
- Comments and account data — you can ask us to delete them.
- Cookies and ads — manage through your browser and TikTok’s settings.
Depending on where you live — for example, the EEA or UK under the GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA — you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to opt out of targeted advertising or “sharing,” and not to be treated differently for exercising those rights. To make a request, email greg@playerdriven.io. We will verify and respond as required by law.
Third-party content and links
The Site embeds content from and links to third parties (YouTube, our social profiles, the main Player Driven site, and the Academy). Their practices are governed by their own privacy policies.
Children
The Site is intended for professionals in and around the games industry and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
International users
We are based in the United States and process data there. If you access the Site from outside the US, you consent to your information being processed in the US and other countries where our providers operate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will revise the “Effective” date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice.
