Progress

XP advances your personal rank. Every 100 total XP moves you up one rank.

Accuracy

Accuracy measures predictions right versus resolved. It—not XP—places you on The Board.

Cred recognizes correct calls. It is tracked separately and is not yet a spendable currency.

The Board and your Rank are separate. Accuracy orders the public prediction board; XP powers your personal progression.

Debate scoring proposal

Proposed · not active

A debate is not a fact check. “Winning” means more signed-in members backed your side when the debate closed. We want to reward participation and persuasion without treating popularity as truth.

Proposed XP when your side wins a qualified community vote.

Other side or tie

Proposed XP for taking part, even when your side does not lead.

Signed-in votes

Proposed minimum, with at least a two-vote margin before a majority bonus applies.

Guardrails before this turns on

  • Debates will not change prediction accuracy, prediction streaks, or Cred.
  • Only one signed-in vote per member counts toward rewards.
  • Rules will be versioned so a future change cannot silently rewrite an old result.
  • A visible activity ledger will show exactly why points were added or corrected.
